I think it's more than that. I think the play calling is wrong for the offense we have on the field, right now. If the line is weak, then make adjustments to the plays to take some of the burden off of the line.
I'm also hoping that today's performance was a let down after last weeks important win. I hope to see more good plays, and a lot fewer penalties. Penalties are a good sign of poor preparation by individual players. I hope Tomlin kicks some arse this week in practice.
IF our o-line was even average than our running game is significantly better which makes the play action pass and the deep ball more effective. Then you throw in fewer sacks, false starts, holding penalties, and we suddenly have an elite offense.
