Goodell wants a less physical game (he's looking out for future law suits from former players and soon to be former players) and the Steelers just happen to play the most physical defense in the NFL.
Goodell wants to protect the money. I am sad about this because the game that I was used to growing up will no longer exist but if you don't want law suits to paralyze this league, Goodell has to do what he has to do.
A better plan would be to shoot all the lawyers. (spoken like a physician, I know)

Shouldn't there be a "No future lawsuits" in the fine print of all contracts?
