First off, I am really glad I found this forum.

I used the Steelers.com forum for around 10 years and then it started getting sketchy. My account would get blocked with no reason and new registration would get overlooked.

Recently I would still check it via the old URL even though the link to it on the site was removed but now it appears to be gone all together. I wonder why they don't want their community talking on their site..did I miss something?

Well regardless, glad to be here with real fans.

I look forward to talking about the team with all of you as we undergo some serious changes. I was 17 years old when the Steelers said goodbye to the likes of Kevin Greene, Leon Searcy, Rod Woodson, and Yancey Thigpen. I remember back then that I thought it was the end of the world. But then the future was born. Sure we had years of Chad Scott and Kordell Stewert, but Jerome Bettis and Hines Ward more than made up for that.

As sad as I am to say goodbye to Hines Ward, James Farrior, and Aaron Smith, I can't help but remember the mass exodus in the early 90s and where we ended up in 2005.

Here's to the road ahead guys.
