Thats what they said about Bettis when he was with the rams. We all know how that worked out.

I think his attitude last year kind of messed his image/stock up. Hopefully it was just because he wants out of the afc North laughing stock.... and not because fame got to his head.

Either way, he'll probably want too much dough and I'm happy with the bruiser we have in Isaac Redman.

If the Steelers bring any new back in, it probably will be a speed guy like Isaiah Pead 4.40 40 time to help create big explosive plays out of the backfield in the pass and run.

Hillis who only is a 4 year vet seems to have lost his passion for the game as he already is talking about retirement so he can join the CIA. Yep that's right the CIA. If your thinking about being gone from the NFL then you already are. That's not to say he is a fool and will turn down millions of dollars but he probably will be there to collect a check and just go through the motions. After the year he had last year he might still be available deep into training camps though and be had for the vet minimum. He blew it when he turned down the Browns offers early.

Not at all, I don't think we need his complaining or anything coming from him that may cause disturbance in the locker room.

Pretty sure the browns said that it was a top priority on re-signing him

Not even an option, he's not committed enough to play with the Steelers. It would be better to draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th round that has potential and just go with the backs we currently have.
