There wasn't anything new regarding this news.
Mike(Tomlin) shyly wanted more "reins of" power, and Rooney gave it to him.

Sooooo, welcome to the "new" "Cowlin" era, or is it "Tomher" era ?,... whatever.
And BTW, yes,
"Cowlin", and/or "Tomher", will be quoted here and there again a lot, hopefully 'till that fat-lady sings again boyz, 'till She sings again.

Wallace has the Deep ball advantage and Speed advantage while Brown has the short-medium pass advantage. But, tbh they are of equal value to our team, because without the defenders worrying about Wallace's deep-ball threat, Brown wouldn't be getting open in coverage as often.

Wallace won't be released; the issue will be if he returns. With him having the first round tag there are plenty of teams that will spend their last first round picks on getting him.

SF, Baltimore and New England.

NE is the biggest threat because they have cap room and two first round picks. So, they offer Wallace a big deal...then we can match it....they get him and we get a 31st overall pick.

Honestly, I think that it wouldn't be a huge deal. Brown really came out last year, Sanders will be healthy and Cotchery is a great slot guy. We can draft another late round great pick like AB and Sanders...the money might be a reach for Wallace.
