Exactly. If percentage is the case then theres about 5 other teams that are 1-0 in the Bowl. As to the Niners vs the Steelers. Idk if it will happen soon but i would definitely look forward to the chance of ending their perfect superbowl record.

I don't know if I like that idea ... seems like it means we'd have to wait a few years before we won another one. If anything, we should've had that matchup in 1994 (fricking Chargers) or maybe 1995 if the 49ers hadn't started choking every time they played Green Bay.

Re-visiting this thread just for fun. If the 9'ers land Manning, this could be a potential matchup within a very short period of time.

Potential to sweep the NFC WEST in 2012? I'd like to find out!
