for nick eason, matt spaeth and keyearon fox.
James C Wexell@jimwexell Steelers awarded picks 240, 246 and 248 as compensation for losing Spaeth, Eason last year. BKeisel one of 3 starters drafted in that range

The best thing about this is that they can use these picks to lock up the prime players that they wanted to sign as undrafted guys instead of competing for them.

If we would have had those picks last year who knows we may end up with a Henry Hynoski instead of losing him to the Giants as a UDFA.
Someone predicted we would have 3 compensatory picks awhile back. Good forecast whoever it was. |
