Default Realistic Mock

So lets take all personal opinion out of this and go with who visited and who our coaches were at pro day to watch...because most likely that's who usually gets picked with the steelers ... so lets all see if we can't come up with a good realistic mock, as some of you guys know more about who visited and what pro days our coaches were at...

this is what i came up with so far... feel free to add on and take off ... and lets see if by draft we can't have a pretty good idea and who gets drafted

1st round - Dre Kirkpatrick / Riley Reiff / Dontari Poe / Jonathan Martin ... none of them guys falls Bobby Massie, OT, Miss / Hightower / Nick Perry / DE/OLB, USC

2nd round - Mychal Kendricks, LB, Cal / Brandon Brooks , OG, Miami / Amini Silatolu , OG, MWS /Juron Criner, WR, Arizona(wild card) /Mitchell Schwartz , OT, Cal

3rd round - Isaiah Pead, RB, Cinci / Derek Wolf , DE, Cinci / Mitchell Schwartz , OT, Cal/ Juron Criner, WR, Arizona / Ladarius Green, TE, LA. LAf.

4th round- Derek Wolf, DE, Cinci / Trenton Robinson, FS, Mich. State / Ty Hilton , WR , FIU / Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas/ Hebron Fangup, DT, BYU

5th round - Hebron Fangupo , DT, BYU / Junior Hemingway, WR, Michigan/ Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas / Akiem Hicks, DT, Canada

6th round- Keith Tandy, CB, West Virgina / Olivier Vernon , OLB, Miami

7A - Olivier Vernon, OLB, Miami / Jarell Harris , ILB/OLB, Alabama /

7B- Myles Wade, DT, Portland State / Ishmaa'ily Kitcken, DT, Kent State

7C- Toney Clemons, WR, Colorado / Keyshawn Martin , WR, Mich. State

7D- Adrien Robinson , TE, Cinci / Kelvin Beachum, OG, SMU

For this year, if Hightower is gone, i would like to see a Guard/Tackle in the first and 2 NT/DT drafted within the first 5 rounds. FB needs to be added, 7th round is great for that because we get who we want without dealing with first come first serve in FA. A runningback would be nice but i dont like picking one early. Im still a huge fan of Barron Batch to replace the Mewelde Moore role, maybe a player like Chris Rainey so he can play ST and as a WR. But great job. Options are more great to look at because you never know what is going to happen.

If we take Bob Massie with our first pick then by all means trade down to do it and pick up an extra pick in the top 3 rounds.

All the OLB converts are still a bit risky so I don't think the team will use a first on any question mark position.

Kendricks I assume would be the backup plan in the 2nd if we don't get Hightower but I like a Guard or OT selection here to find a starter rather then waiting a round and maybe finding no one left..

We would need a little luck to get Pead in the 3rd why not take one in the 4th like Ronnie Hillman or Cyrus Gray and grab a safety this round like Markelle Martin. Martin will be the next Ed Reed if he gets better at catching the ball. He has everything else you want in a Free safety.

We must get WR Toney Clemons. Take no chance and grab him in the 6th.

You could add Julian Miller, OLB West Virginia Height: 6-3. Weight: 256. as a potential 7th round pick as well.
