Bayless, Stephan Smith and others will throw some criticism out there about this and that and Mangini immediately defends anyone and everyone thats put on a uniform in NFL history. Worst analyst on TV by far and they need to sack him from the show ASAP. He's horrible. |

Probably the worst thing about the draft "spectacle" at Radio City Hall, as they discussed today on some analysis, was the fact they brought "the top prospects" in and instead of having them in the audience (as they should have...), they had them up there on stage standing there like circus animals on display. Terrible thing to do.
What about the guys who were bypassed? They looked like complete idiots....like they were not asked to the prom or something. And who said these were the guys that were the most sought after? They badly missed on this one too. Hopefully they won't do that foolish part of the show next year.. |

Last year I was told that ESPN's coverage of the first round was the most Epicest fail ever lol!! I missed it because every since I ordered direct tv, I watch most NFL stuff on NFL Network. Now that Sapp is toast and Deion is don't runway like reporting, NFL Network is great. Mayoch and Mooch vs turning to ESPN and seeing Gruden, Berman, and Kiper ewww..
I watched ESPN for about 4-5 picks. They were absolutely terrible. Gruden and Berman do not watch much college footall is boy was it evident. At least Gruden studied a little to not sound as bad. Berman sounded like a complete idot. He fumbled over his notes and seemed to care more about the frequency of picks and high drama vs the players.. Then Berman went on a streak of guessing picks again based off nothing. He is the WORST sports guy on TV. He used to me so good in the early 90's. He seriously needs to retire.. At the point that all I could hear was ""BACK-BACK-BACK-BACK-BACK" whenever Berman opened his mouth, I had to turn back to NFL Network. |

^^^100% I laughed when I read this because I stayed up just to see the guys that didn't get picked in the Green Room. I know that's messed up. But those guys looked like fools. A few you could tell were very upset in sad way. Guess were moving in their seats, shaking their heads, a couple looked to almost be in tears. Not to mention, the mics got too close a few times and you could here family trying to console these guys. To much stock is put into who these experts think are stars. There were plenty of guys drafted that people gave later round grades to. Just shows you that a lot of teams could give a damn about what these experts say. I agree that potential picks should sit in the regular crowd with minimal family escorts. Some of these undrafted guys had TONS of people with them. |

I thought the way too long hugs were kind of creepy, made me uncomfortable watching it.Kind of like the uncle or aunt that held onto the hug too long.I think the whole production has gone way over board. But thats what sports has become, its become more hollywood and less sports.I mean a red carpet, can you inmagine jack lambert having to jump threw all the hoops they make the players do now days as far as the silly production things. And the thing that made me almost turn the damn thing off,was the guys in suits walking the carpet with the "draft hats" in display cases.I mean what the heck was that? It embarress the hell out of me as a football fan they did that.

Sorry, but to me,goodell is whats wrong with football. Not to go off topic. And to have the players come out there and basically "kiss his ring" was to me showed the ego on the guy.As thats what those long hugs looked for me."Now go out there and show mr,douchebag how much you like him".Do you really think those players wanted to embrace him that long? The guy needs to go.

I love gruden as a person and as a coach. But can he shut the heck up for a second so I can see what mel has to say. Man he's irritating. Was the third round as hard to watch for you guys as for me. Did they ever just sit there and look at who was being drafted. I would pay to watch the draft if they would have no commercials and talk about each pick. My god I was watching another program and the draft went to commercial so I switched over . After a minute the program went to commercial. The program came back before the draft did. Very frustrating. Didn't see anything with tomlin. Just the colts and jeff fisher and the rams that is all they wanted to talk about.
