Earlier this week I finsihed up my very first Custom Themed Supercar and I based it off of the Hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. The model is 100% Genuine unaltered Lego built in the Technic Theme. I did however send the Lego wheels away to get Chromed and Gold color tinted by the same man who did Big Ben's Chrome Skull Mask in the Nike "Warriors" commercial.
I'll have this model along with a few of my other customs on display at Lego Kidsfest at the David L Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh from November 30th through December 2nd 2012... ![]() Here are the specs for the Model: 1,800 parts 1:10 Scale Studless Design Working 4 Speed Transmission Front Mounted V10 All Wheel Drive 4 Wheel Independent Suspension H.O.G. and in car steering Doors open and close by rolling bevel gears in the rear Spoiler raises and lowers by rolling a bevel gear between the seats ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you're in the Pittsburgh area, bring the family to Kidsfest There are all kinds of cool activities for them and there will be some amazing models on display! www.crowkillers.com |

Awesome! I'm going to move this to the Steelers main forum so it can be viewed by a larger crowd, it deserves it.

Hey thanks man! I didn't want to make it in the mains because I wasn't sure if it belonged there or not... I am going to be auctioning this piece off next spring for Make-A-Wish... I just did a Charity Auction that raised over $1,600 for them. I am hoping that this will bring even more....

This one was a big hit at the Pittsburgh Kidsfest show last year by luck, as it just happened to be Black and Yellow, but I wanted to go all out and do a Full Blown Steeler Edition Model for this year's event, plus being a hometown fan, it was just the right thing to do...

I had recently got a twitter link to this page and I just wanted to say that as a Steeler nut as well as a adult fan of Lego that you did a tremendous job on this model, I love the color scheme as well as the mechanics(I have also seen the youtube video for this). I will also be taking my 2 boys to Kidsfest in the 'Burgh in December and am looking forward to seeing this creation in person. We attended the kidsfestival last year and got to see all of your cars, but we didn't get to speak as there were just too many people surrounding your table. Hopefully this year I'll get to chat with you for a bit. My name is Sean by the way. Also, great work with the charity! That is quite a lot of money raised for a great cause. Make sure that you send the info in advance to let everyone know when this beautiful piece goes for charity next year. this would look good on my mantle.

I have the auction for the piece set.. I wanted to run the auction the first week of January because I assumed that the Steelers would make the playoffs.... Well that didn't happen, so I decided to wait until closer to the Superbowl...
The auction starts on the 24th of this month and ends at 5 P.M. (EST) on February 3rd... Here is a video of the model and it's features....
