Drew Brees shares his thoughts on Gooodell with Peter King
On NFL players' attitudes to Goodell: Brees got quiet and thought for a moment, then said: "Nobody trusts him. Nobody trusts him. I'm not talking about a DUI, or using a gun in a strip club, which are pretty clear violations. I think there're too many times where the league has come to its decision in a case before calling a guy in, and the interview is just a façade. I think now if a guy has to come in to talk to Roger, he'll be very hesitant because he'll think the conclusion has already been reached.'' http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...29/mmqb/1.html Of course the Steelers figured this out a year before the rest of the players and were accused of posturing when they voted against the collective bargaining agreement because it gave Goodell unreviewable disciplinary power. The league office can spin attacks from James Harrison as those of an ill tempered bad a** but the same thoughts coming from a QB wiith the image of Drew Brees are another matter |

i DO NOT like Brees.....he's a pompous, egotistical **** who has hoodwinked nearly everyone including the fans. But he is right about one thing :
The appeals and interviews are absolutely facades. The decision's have already been made and there's a judge and jury that won't even hear many legitimate appeals about things that were not done purposely or maliciously. That HAS to change.....thats third-world country kind of stuff. |

Make no mistake: Drew Brees' new contract with the New Orleans Saints is lucrative enough to clear him of diaper-changing duty for roughly the next 700 years.
But in the moments after signing his $100 million extension, life didn't change much for the Saints star. "The minute I got off the phone (after agreeing to terms with the New Orleans Saints), I changed Bowen's poopy diaper, then I went downstairs and did a load of whites in the washer and then I went upstairs and put Baylen's lunch away in the refrigerator," Brees said during his Tuesday press conference. "That was pretty much standard operation in the offseason, so nothing changed. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d...ntract-signing Yeah, this guy is pretty much the anti-christ.
