Default Judge Wants Tax Increase To Defend Against (Possible) Civil War

Sage advice for how to deal with a possible second term for Obama, even if it does require raising taxes

In Lubbock County, Texas, there’s talk of a tax increase. The increase is to be 1.7 cents per $100 for the next fiscal year, boosting the rate to 34.6 cents from the current rate of 32.9458 cents....

This week, on Fox TV, Lubbock County Judge Tom Head explained why he favors an increase....

In an interview about the potential tax increases, Judge Tom Head explained how he feared that if President Obama were re-elected, he would cede the country to the UN, creating havoc:

He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the UN, and what is going to happen when that happens? I’m thinking the worst case scenario. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we’re not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we’re talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy. Okay. Now what’s going to happen if we do that? If the public decides to do that? He’s going to send in UN troops. I don’t want ‘em in Lubbock County. OK. So I’m going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say ‘You’re not coming in here’. And the sheriff, I’ve already asked him, I said, ‘You gonna back me?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I’ll back you.’ Well, I don’t want a bunch of rookies back there. I want trained, equipped, seasoned veteran officers to back me.”

Civil war or not, the vote for the property tax increase for Lubbock, Texas, is scheduled for September 10.

the UN is just another drain of US taxpayers money. we pay 22 % of the UN budget.
they can't even provide security in 3rd world countries so how does this judge think they'll control 300 million gun owning americans?
not to mention the bulk of the UN forces are americans.

Judge Head thinks it could get serious - he has done the math

"you know we may have two or three hundred deputies facing maybe a thousand U.N. troops. We may have to call out the militia,”

This mortal threat of UN domination is why our Second Amendment rights must never be limited

This is the sort of thing that requires a wide grin while pulling on a snifter of cognac, maybe a muffled laugh, maybe. But definitely no chortle, no LOL. It simply wouldn't do.

Nice find, Dan.

Be afraid Lubbock - be very afraid

U.N. Offers Non-Denial Denial About Invading Texas

"It's absolutely ridiculous," said U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's spokesman, Martin Nesirky, when asked if the United Nations had any plans to invade Texas.

Why not a simple "no" Comrade Ban Ki-moon?

these whack jobs already said all this shit was supposed to happen in the first year of his first term. remember when we were gonna face the worst terrorist strike EVER shortly after election in the first term? Wasnt the end of the world gonna happen.? wasnt America supposed to crumble and EVERYBODY be in soup lines?

the lubboc voters will probably up the ante and vote to make it an even 2 cents increase just to be extra safe.

...morons.
