The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to honor Sanya Richards-Ross on Sunday before their game with the Houston Texans. She won two gold medals in track in London and is the wife of Jaguars corner Aaron Ross. "I'm looking forward to finally coming to my new home in Jacksonville," Richards-Ross said via the Jaguars' website . "The way Aaron and I have been embraced by the Jaguars organization and the community is unlike anything we have ever seen. I can't wait to thank all the fans for their amazing support during my journey in London. Sunday will be my first Jaguars game but not my last." The Olympics fell during NFL training camp, but the Jaguars gave Ross permission to leave camp and see his wife win gold in the 400m and 4x400m relay. Ross already had the trip to see his wife compete before he signed with Jacksonville in the off-season, but the team gave him permission to go to London without any question. Other pro teams have honored Olympians who have recently returned from London with hardware. Four-time gold medal-winning swimmer Missy Franklin did the coin toss before the Denver Broncos win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Several members of the Fierce Five have thrown out first pitches in baseball games. However, none of the Olympians have had a connections as close as Richards-Ross does with the Jaguars. Kudos to the team for recognizing what she accomplished.
