I just got done watching today's game against the Giants (had to work during the game) and after watching all these rediculous flags I don't know if we should consider this a 24-6 win over the GIants or a 24-20 win over the Giants and the officials 'cause even Phil Simms called all those calls the refs made (Ryan Clark's call, Ben's non-tuck rule, the clip on Heath, etc, etc) terrible calls. But I'm sure Roger Godell and his band of cronies will be up all night trying to figure out how to explain them all off.

I thought it was great, even Phil Simms called out the refs.

It's easy to classify the game..."SET UP"! "RIGGED"! "PAID OFF"! "SLANTED"! "ONE SIDED"!
Even when we were "Facing The Giants" like the movie we beat back that brick wall till it collapsed! I LOVED this win today! It showed the world what we are really made of. I hope we win this years SuperBowl do we can shove that 7th ring right in Goodells face and say "YOU CAN'T STOP THE COLORS" or maybe "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" or something catchy like that to let him know we beat the best, overcame with adversity and persevered even when we were deliberately set up! The fact is our team has the most SuperBowl rings in the entire NFL's history and they can't take that away! Classify? Yeah I'll classify! Classify this as a GREAT win! |

Instead of shoving a ring in Goodell's face, we should have Harrison shove the Lombardi trophy up somewhere else on Goodell's anatomy.

RE: Where to place the Lombardi trophy
Lends new definition to the term "Big Sticky".... RE: Game Clasifcation: One Win. Fun for us fans, no doubt, but in the overall scheme of things, it's just one win. Right now we better be thing about nothing else but the Chiefs.... Next! |

Yup, Chiefs suppose to be one of the worst teams, like Oakland & Tennessee.

Great win in a must win situation.
I'm more excited about the defense playing. Lewis (besides the one terrible P.I call..the 2nd one. where he was practically hugging the guy) is playing great for us. Linebackers are stepping up. D Line is playing great. Offense is looking lights out. One man goes down and another just steps up and goes. Mike Adams struggled but that was expected..I like his developement so far. Ben is looking AMAZING and on 3rd down it's almost a given that they will convert.

I'll give Giants the benefit of the doubt with the tuck (which still is iffy) and say we should have won 24-13. The call on Clark was probably top 3 worst calls against a Steeler ever. If Ben doesn't throw the pick it could have at least been 27-13 or 31-13.
We physically outmatched them, which is what I expect from a team that is going to contend. Now, we need to get the win and stay healthy this coming week. Can't be looking ahead at all. They really haven't done anything, but are certainly on the right track.

The scoreboard doesn't tell the true story. The stats do. We utterly dominated New York in every single category. I truly think we wipped their ass, nice and good.
Big win against the defending SuperBowl champs, and on the road. Can't ask for better than that. |

Simms called out a ref?
When? I guess I missed that one. Phil Simms has spent the better part of his broadcasting career playing it safe and acting as a tool for the League and wouldn't step in to a controversy even with Goodell's permission, so I'd love to know what he said! He was silent on the PI call that helped set up the Giants' first score. He even said that he wasn't going to "get into" whether or not it was a good call. WTF? If you don't address THAT, then what was there to talk about? That call sucked and everyone who saw it knew that! |
