Sure he can say all liberals are going to hell and gays are the reason for every storm and earthquake without recrimination. But now he has taken on women's enjoyment of Fifty Shades of Grey. He's toast.

Televangelist Pat Robertson is stunned by the success of the erotic fiction book, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” asking 700 Club co-host Kristi Watts if she “sees anything in porn that attracts you” or just considers it “boring” like him. Robertson said he is shocked that “Fifty Shades of Grey” is so successful since its author is “a little housewifey-type that doesn’t look like some glamour queen.”

Ohsnap... I'm sure he finds it boring because he probably watches so much of it. He needs to screen all of this material so he can be educated on the things he talks about.

I tried reading Fifty Shades of Grey and it truly is boring. It is basically repeated over and over and over again ad nauseum that Christian Grey is the dominant and Ana Steele is the submissive, and they are trying to agree to terms of a contract between them and blah blah blah. She wants a normal relationship, he knows no other type of relationship than that between a dominant and submissive. I don't want to say too much in case someone who is reading the books doesn't want to be spoiled. It is very poorly written. I couldn't even get through the first book (of a trilogy), and just skimmed through the last 1/3 of the book.

Kindle gave it very poor reviews, so I didn't buy it. I borrowed it from a friend.

There are a lot of people who love the trilogy, though.

I would have thought his maker would have called this invaluable religious warrior home by now. He's like the Dick Clark of the religious right.
