holy crap i have alot of tapes and albums than need to be converted over to cd. either that or i need to break down and invest in an i-pod and start downloading. (i havnt played an album in years)

interresting to see james hetfield comment on how motorhead was his bridge from punk rock to heavy metal. i went from punk, to motorhead and straight to metallica. 2 bands even the punks could feel good having their patch on the back of their jacket. remember patches on the levi or leather jacket? oh to be young again.

Did you see the top 40 metal songs of all time? I liked some of it, but there was some real trash on there that just didn't belong. Faith No More's "Epic"? Please...if they are gonna give credit for rap metal, give it to Anthrax/PE's "Bring the Noise" remake (which they did). Korn? C'mon! They didn't have a single Van Halen song on there, either, which is just crap...

Motorhead definitely was represented with "Ace of Spades"...I also liked seeing Slayer make the top 10, and it was cool to see Pantera in there...but Skid Row? I just don't know how they came up with some of this stuff...

you know how you always have your rival cliques in jr. high and on. when i 1st heard motorhead i wondered how the hell the punkers and metalheads werent on the same page. loved "eat the rich." i think i first heard that watching "the young ones" when mtv used to show it once a week.

granted my parents listenned to sabath but nothing like motorhead.

if its the new one, i still am waiting to catch it. i still got the soundtrack "bring the noise" was on (on tape of course-lol). groundbreaking. and 10 years ahead of its time.

holy crap, i can remember watching that with my parents (and even grandparents) but was too young to remember specific bands that played. i just really remember bowser and his fist thing.

I got to see Motorhead open for Motley Crue at the old Richfield Coliseum near Cleveland... after Motorhead was finished, I could of cared less about seeing the Crue. I don't remember the exact year, but, Orgasmatron was their newest album. Lemmy just kicked ass that night!

not a country fan by any means but can definitely respect patsy clines music.
