There, I said it. No use, being negative and talking like the sky is falling. The Steelers are a very good team when they play great, and Sunday they will come ready to play!

They are capable of winning and you can NEVER count them out!

Leftwich isn't a good fit for Haley's offense

If you know anything about Todd Haley's offense after eight games, it's a system that relies on short and quick passes. If you know anything about Leftwich after watching him throw a couple of passes, it's the fact that he doesn't get rid of the ball quickly.

In fact, Leftwich might have the slowest release in NFL history...

Leftwich's strong arm and desire to throw deep is better suited for the Steelers' old offense under Bruce Arians...

The Steelers are going with Leftwich and saying they are confident that the offense won't have to change with a change at quarterback. But, if the Steelers want to maintain success on offense, they're going to have to adapt to Leftwich's strengths.

Outside of the 2007 outlier, the way we've beaten Baltimore is with defense and a few key plays. We don't need Byron to be a hero, just manage the game and don't turn it over.

This team struggled twice with Cleveland.

I think I will trust the Steelers coaches more than some ESPN internet writer... Did any of these experts actually watch Byron play during the years he started in Jacksonville? When he was healthy he was a good QB. His QBR rating was usually in the mid-80s. It was only injuries that derailed him.

Chin up, Steeler fans. These are the four games the Ravens have won against the Steelers when Ben missed a start. I see average to bad QB numbers and still only narrow Raven victories. We can win with a serviceable effort from Lefty.

2005 - Maddox - 19/36, 230, 1 TD, 1 INT, lost 13-16
2007 - Batch - 16/31, 218, 2 TD, 2 INT, lost 21-27
2009 - Dixon - 12/26, 145, 1 TD, 1 INT, lost 17-20
2010 - Batch - 12/21, 141, 0 TD, 1 INT, lost 14-17
