Max Starks misses practice- ankle injury?

What is it with all the injuries lately?.......I dont think i ever recall it being this bad.
Some one said maybe its time to look into new trainers

Those returning to practice Thursday after missing the Wednesday session included defensive end Brett Keisel (shoulder) and offensive tackle Max Starks (ankle).

injuries in the uberviolent game of football. thats a real head scratcher. who'd a thunk

whoever said its time to fire the training staff, made a completely moronic and ignorant statement cause we have one of the finest staffs in the league and no amount of "training" prevents ben's rib from popping out.

EVERY team is suffering a myriad of injuries. steelerfans just dont follow every team to notice.

its not because every teams training staffs suck.

its because grown men hit hard.

Aside from the Gilbert falling on knees thing, the rest of the inuries are a result of a team that plays way more physical than most other teams.

Troy rams his head into people for a living. Clark once knocked himself out while hitting McGahee. Et cetera.

The downside of being physical is that it takes a toll, and every once in a while, someone is going to be injured. BUT, I'll take the intimidation factor (teams do NOT like playing against the Steelers) for the one or two players who have to sit out every week.

Play by the sword; die by the sword. And, thankfully, the Steelers mostly win those battles.
