AFC record is 3-4, worst under Tomlin. (In 2006, their 4th AFC loss was after just 6 AFC games (2-4) but that was under Cowher.) This could be a problem with tiebreakers down the stretch....

we own tiebreaker over the jets and 2 game lead over chargers. cincy is 1 game behind us so we need to beat them. tiebreaker will prolly just determine if we're #5 or #6

Take care of the Chargers and Bengals, and don't stumble against teams like the Browns and we should be set. The Chargers appear to be in free fall mode now and will probably just take themselves out of it altogether. The Bengals are playing good football and look to be a legit threat. The Colts schedule is beginning to get really tough and they probably won't survive it. We all remember how rookie Ben finished down the stretch too. Luck has already had to do more physically than Ben did his entire rookie season.

Say Sha Da tay and it'll be ok. Regardless of who was QB we were going to lose a couple more on the year. We pretty much knew this. We'll pull through, though. 10-6 or 11-5 is very very possible. We can't be 14-2 every year.

I was actually anticipating a possible loss to them and the Ravens, especially if we don't have Ben. We'd still finish 10-6 and almost certainly a WC if we take care of the other AFC teams. Of course these things never turn out how you predict.

I actually think if we go 3-3 with wins over the Browns (once), Bengals, Chargers we will get in as the 6th seed at 9-7.
In that scenario, we could drop the Ravens, Cowboys, and one of the Browns games.

We would own all tiebreakers of wildcard contenders except the Titans, Bills, Dolphins, who would each need to go 5-1 to finish 9-7.

iuno dallas is soft on defense, dwyer can run up the gut on them all day, we should win that. you can always count on tony romo throwing 500 interceptions as well

After this weekend, I still think we can win out, our Def is playing top notch right now so if we can just manage the off we have a shot each week. I am sure Balty will lose to Denver and possibly the Giants so if we can take care of business each week we can still take the division.

If PITT's offense scores a TD (instead of that FG), they win... despite playing with a back-up QB with broken ribs.

The defense CAN carry them through these games... even against BALT.
