i don't get why the NFL always hypes up Steelers vs Ravens as a hard-hitting, can't miss matchup, when they actually don't want any of the hard hitting?

stupid, i don't like this suspension one bit. I don't like the ravens at all, but my love for football outweighs any dislike i have for another team. goodell sucks.

Buddy, you lost all credibility with that one statement. Especially since you made that ridiculous claim on a site whose members have seen the epitome of toughness in a QB.
No QB is "tougher" than Ben Roethlisberger. Period.

It deserved a penalty, regardless if it was a "weak" hit. It is still helmet to helmet.
I do think, he shouldn't have a gotten a suspension. A fine would have sufficed.

He had to get a suspension by rule since he received a fine, 3 game lapse. Once earlier this season against the Bradys, and once in 2010 against the Breeses.

I can agree with that. It was "penalty worthy", because it was indeed helmet-to-helmet, but it was not a "dirty" hit. Ed Reed does NOT head-hunt.

I hate the Ravens, but I think that Ed Reed being suspended is an offing joke!!! Give him a fine (for hitting "too high"), but to suspend him... really???

Man I'm starting to think that Goodell is actually Vince McMahon.

You seriously think that he is tougher than Ben? Ben has played through a whole heck of a lot. If there was a way for him to play through this injury, you best believe he would be out there.

It's one thing to try and legitimize Flaccid, but to call him the toughest QB in the league...on a site of Roethlisberger fans no less...that just lost you all credibility.

I grew-up in a time when 'em Stillers sucked (Colts were in Baltimore, Cardinals in St, Louis, Rams in Los Angeles, etc.), yet watched every road-game, and listended to every home game (pre 1973), with my dad, then discussed them for 6 days, until the next game

the last 6-8 years, I find myself watching less and less, and rarely thinking or discussing the recent games, because I don't recognize this as the game I loved

this year, winning or losing, I can't watch more than 2 quarters of an NFL game, Steelers included
