You are just rookies in that arena, compared to the Raiders! No team was ever more hated and "gone after" by the league, than the Raiders.

Harrison didn't help his cause any with his remarks about wanting to hurt the guys he hits. Yes, I know what he meant, and I think he's right, but I'm sure it didn't sit well with Goodell. It's not right, but sometimes you gotta know when to "play the game", so to speak.
If Goodell wants to be taken seriously in his contention that player safety is the goal, then he shouldn't be concerned with how politically astute James Harrison is or isn't. A helmet-to-helmet hit is a helmet-to-helmet no matter what the guy says during his press conference the next day.

Instead of Goodell handing down fines/suspensions, I'd like to see a three-man panel do it. There would likely be more consistency in player punishment, so we wouldn't see someone who was only accused of a crime get a four game suspension and someone who shoots a gun in the general direction of innocent people gets nothing.

I agree, but, we all know what we're dealing with, in Goodell.

Both teams get their fair share of bad breaks, bias calls & fines, & excessive penalty flags.
Either "side" could argue that their team gets f***ed more than the other team. Neither are "rookies" as you stated in comparison with the other.
You can highly disagree all you want. I've followed the Raiders for over 4 decades. I know which team gets/has gotten shit on more than any other in this league.

I never said the Steelers didn't/don't get their share of shit calls, fines, etc....

I'm not going to do it, but I bet if someone wanted to research it, it wouldn't even be close as to which team gets/got screwed the most over the last 40+ years.

I would vote for the Raiders as teams that got screwed the most. The tiebreaker between Raiders and Steelers would go to the loser of the Immaculate Reception call... the Raiders. Brady's tuck rule was the most bs call of all time.
