Default Can Rainey Play in the NFL?

For the amount of playing time Rainey has had he fumbles way too often. He fumbled twice today. He fumbled against the Giants. All this for a man who is in less than 10% of the offensive snaps. If he can't correct his fumbling problem, then he can't play. Its a shame cause he has a lot of talent.

Loved his TD run today, but honestly he looks way too small to be playing in the NFL.

We forced Rainey to try and be the main guy today, and the result was predictable, IMO. He's great when used properly, but he's way too small to take big hits.

All these fucking backs fumbled and you pick on Rainey? At least he scored a TD, something these fumbling fatbacks can't say.

Mendy is finished, he'll never play again for the Steelers.

Agreed - IMO that second fumble was it for him - he will not be back next season and may not see the ball again this year

Only the second fumble is being counted but you have a good point. I think he has a ways to go but he could be a very good player with some experience. He also needs to gain a few pounds. Sproles is also small but he is very good.

All of our running backs sucked today but he was the best one and even got our only offensive touchdown.

Edit: Mendenhall is not going to be dropped in favor of Dwyer or Redman. Not that Mendenhall is starter material but he's a lot closer than either of the other three backs.

Nobodys picking on him. He's just too small to take too many carries. If we were picking, we'd point out that he fumbled twice, including the deal sealer at the end.
