I have been denial after seeing our offense dissected by the Browns. I Kept telling my self, "Ben will be back for the Ravens games, Ben will be healthy enough to play, Ben will save the season" but its thursday night now and well, It's starting to sink in. Ben's gonna miss this game, and barring a miracle we will get piss pounded by the Ravens... That's going to set us at 6-6. Then the most practical chance we have at making a run is winning out against the Chargers, Cowboys, Bengles, and then the Browns. I have a feeling it may all come down to our game against The Bengles. I don't see us missing the play offs at 10-6 in the afc this year, but if we find a way to lose to any of the final 4 teams of which we usually own all of them (don't actually remember any dallas - steelers games for some reason) If Leftwich is able to go I'd much rather see him than batch, he was doing okay in his first game until he broke his ribs tripping over him self, He's got a hell of an arm when healthy though. I don't look the looks of it either way because its either Batch, a Banged up leftwich, and a 20% Ben. Honestly out of the three id take a 20% Ben but that wont happen. Might as well forfeit this next game, get a free bye week and then go on a rampage, raping and pillaging inferior pieces of crap like the Bengles and Cowboys.

Something tells me Ben will play on Sunday vs the Ravens(maybe its hope) I think the Steelers realize they have to win this game to stay in the Wildcard and there's not a snowballs chance in hell they will win this game with Batch so Ben will play even though he isn't near 100%. Selfish as it seems I would rather a 50% BB than a 100% Batch

1. Did you even watch the last match-up? PITT's defense allowed a whopping 3 points. Even if Flacco is "better at home", I don't see more than 17 (predict 10).

2. The wild-card is not over with a loss on Sunday. Heck, TWO more losses could happen, and a wild-card spot would still be "possible" (9-7). 4-1 is not out of the question, and I could even see 5-0... but, regardless, 3-2 is not at all far-fetched.

3. Why rush BB back at 20% (or 50%)??? Did you not see what happened last season? Allow me to re-cap:
--BB gets hurt
--BB rushes back
--BB never heals completely
--BB is hobbled in the play-offs
--the Steelers lose.

I propose:
--BB gets hurt
--rest BB/weather the storm
--sneak into the play-offs as a wild-card
--make a run with a healthy BB
--win #7.

Weather the storm. I think the Steelers will be competitive even if they lose, but if they do fall to 6-6 don't give up. Ben will likely be back for SD.

If we come out of Baltimore with Troy and Brown still healthy and no more serious injuries, we're going to make a run the final month of the season.
