If I'm not mistaken Cowher didn't do to well in his last year as a HC. Tomlin has taken his team to 2 Super Bowls since 2007. Only BelliCheat can say that. Cowher has 3 6-10 seasons, 1 7-9 season, and the last season was 8-8.

As I recall many of you were screaming for Cowhers head, now you're longing for him again.
Like I said in the beginning, I'm not happy with the job Tomlin had done this year but let's look at the other coaches, as well Labeau is getting out schemed almost weekly, Haley I don't think is a good fit for this team and let's not forget all of injuries.

This is not a good year for Steelers football, I'm just as pissed as most of you ( I broke shit last night) but, the reality is that we're not a good team and it's everybody's fault......and I mean everybody especially Rooney who superseded Tomlin and fired Arians. I hated Arains as well but if the HC didn't have a problem with him then let him deal with that not the owner, is he playing Jerry Jones now?
I broke my remote control and I broke the arm rest on my couch. The remote control I tossed at the ground - batteries flying everywhere. I went to pick up the poor controller and batteries in a silent rage, tripped, and fell on the arm rest - cracking it. It is slumping in Steelers shame right now.

Yes, he was all about him but you cannot overlook the fact that he was a damn good receiver.

I care that a player is a good teammate and shows up to play every single week more than I do about a receiver flexing his arms when he makes a big play. You are saying they shouldn't be proud and enjoy their accomplishments. Maybe you should take your own self-inventory before critiquing another.

Are you flawless in how you conduct yourself each moment?
And after AB makes a catch and Ben wants to get into a hurry-up offence but dufus is walking down the field to point his finger and drop the ball, no that bullshit should not be tolerated by the coaches. Wanna be proud, do it after a VICTORY.

This team has to have the lowest football IQ in the the NFL. Not knowing when to run out of bounds, when to stay in bounds, what to do when the ball is loose in your own end zone, and it is goes on up to Tomlin who doesn't know when to go for 2, when to not run a fake FG etc..

I was a huge fan of Brown but the kid is dumber than a bag of rocks. He must've scored low on the wonderlic. He's certainly in my doghouse after a series of bonehead plays. And that is on coaching. You've got to drill these players for every situation in practice.

I'm a fan of Brown too, but I think this loss is mostly on him. This was easily the worst game I've seen him play. He'll come back from it though.

So what you're saying is, the same guy that everyone loved a couple of weeks ago is now the goat for the losses? Yep, that sounds about right on these boards. Instead of recognizing the entire team played like shit, let's single out a single guy and blame him for it. I mean, that's some great logic.

After the Brown fumble on the return, it was the Cowboys game to lose. With the way Romo was picking on our depleted secondary, that wasn't going to happen.

Secure the ball. He's already run what, 50 yards? Then when the lane tightens up he's swinging the ball around. Reminds me of Randle El (a player I liked). You've got to make sure the ball is secure at that point above all else. We had great field position and a chance to go up two scores at the end of the game. We didn't need any 5-run homeruns. That's my take on it. Like I said though, he'll come back from it. I still think he's the best wr we have.

They're really an average group of receivers.
Don't let BIG Money Ben off the hook, he has his share of screw ups too.

Finally someone agrees.

Have you guys forgotten all the Wallace mistakes???? He basically tossed the ball to the Browns in the Cleveland game. Just saying, Wally is no better.

Brown has made plenty of clutch catches and had plenty of return and receiving yards. I agree, he had a bad (horrible) game, actually. But he was FAR from alone in making mistakes. The loss was a TEAM loss. Stop assigning blame all to one person.

If anyone should be taking hits, it should be "the standard" shit head Tomlin. MOTIVATE YOUR DAMN PLAYERS! THIS TEAM SUCKS AND YOU COULDN'T MOTIVATE A FLY.

Ah, the "young money" crew. Big money, Fast Money, Easy money.
All more interested in being a star who showboats than doing what it takes to win.
All more interested in making money than being great.

I remember previous threads and debates about whether Brown celebrated too much for routine plays. When I said these guys didn't have the discipline and focus on what really mattered to be great like several of our past great receivers, and are more interested in self adulation, my screen name led to me being called an "old-timer" who didn't understand the modern athlete.

I understand thre modern athlete better than the apologists who overlook their lack of discipline.

They should all go back and watch films of Swann and Stallworth.

They might learn what it truly means to act like a professional, acheive greatness, and most importantly, how to win.

Some fool even was bold enough to say Brown is more talented than the two greats I mentioned. What a joke.
