Miller is Digest Player of the Week
In a lot of ways, it was another day at the office for Heath Miller, but based on the kind of season he is having that’s still a good day. Miller caught seven passes for 92 yards and a 30-yard touchdown that tied the game, 10-10, at halftime. The TD gave him eight on the season, a single-season career high, and he also tied Louis Lipps for fifth place on the team’s list for receiving touchdowns. Miller is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week. Also considered were: James Harrison, who had five tackles, including one for loss on third-and-short, and a forced fumble down near the goal line that saved a touchdown; Lawrence Timmons, who had six tackles and a sack; and Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 24-of-40 for 339 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. http://forums.steelersfever.com/show...t=heath+miller

Heath Miller deserves to be Coach, AND, throw and catch the ball at the same time.
I mean, it sure looks likes he's been trying to do just that, in comparison to Ben, and the rest of our receivers, ....

• Heath Miller‘s seven catches gave him 405 in his career, third most in Steelers history behind Hines Ward (1,000) and John Stallworth (537).

HISTORY AWAITS HEATH?
Since 1969 when the Steelers first decided to name and honor its Most Valuable Player, never has the award gone to a tight end. That streak could end next week. Miller, who’s third on the Steelers’ all-time receptions list (405), has been the team's most consistent player this year. He leads the team with 68 catches. He and Mike Wallace are tied for the team lead with eight touchdowns apiece. Miller ranks first with 43 catches that have resulted in a first down. He’s not fumbled the ball once this year. And he’s one of the NFL’s best blocking tight ends. A first-round pick in 2005, he’s having the best season of his career. Certainly, there’s no one on defense worthy of team MVP consideration. Offensively, an argument can be made for Ben Roethlisberger, who’s sixth in the NFL with a 98.1 passer rating. But the guess here is the Miller will be chosen MVP by a landslide vote of his teammates. http://www.timesonline.com/sports/st...f1a64b261.html
