All you really need to know is the bookmarks system. There's a little star at the end of the address bar. Click it on a page you'd like to add to your bookmarks and select which folder you'd like to put it in (bookmarks bar, other bookmarks). I put all of my important websites on the bookmarks bar, which hovers directly below the address bar for easy clicking.

I use Chrome, and I find it likes to slow down and take it's time to download, quite often.

The only reason I switched to Chrome from IE is because for some reason, IE will no longer allow me to be "remembered" on any forums I go to. I hate having to sign in every time.

Can anyone tell me why IE doesn't work like that anymore (for me) and how to fix it?
