Yeah that was stupid. Suisham's career long is 52 and the longest FG at Heinz is 52. You either go for it or punt in that situation.

Unfortunately, they won't get rid of him but this team is just all around bad:

Offensive schizo
Defensive decent most of the time
Special teams are really really special
Mind-numbing in game Tomlin calls: Fake Field goals on the 4, etc. Just odd..

Don't mind losing but this team looks ill-prepared, inconsistent, and just all-around disinterested.

I wouldn't say he was a "joke". I think he's got a lot of sh!t going on - on field and off field. I just became a father for the first time last week - I can say, firsthand, that (at least initially) things change drastically when a child comes along. I'm not trying to blame his child. Or his wife. But that is a pretty big life change to deal with while ALSO having to play football.

I'm sure he just wants to be home and with his wife and child. And that might have played a part in his deficiency of play post-injury.

But ultimately, I do feel as though the Haley experiment was a bust. Ben never trusted him or respected him. That's going to impact his level of play. The offseason is going to be interesting, for sure. Whether fair or not, I would not be surprised if Haley gets fired.

While our banged up teams' bones knit till 2013, there is a silver lining.

The playoffs won't matter cause either the Patriots or the Ratbirds are gonna cream the Bungles anyway.

Ratbirds? Have you watched them the last 4 weeks? They're looked HORRIBLE.

The only team playing like a champion in the AFC are the Broncos. Houston mailed their game in today and NE barely beat a bad Jacksonville team.

Well the rift is tearing the team apart. This Steeler team did what Steeler teams never do==just imploded and gave games away.

CIN should take the game and not look back but they will lose their first playoff game and be done. Except for the last FG, PIT accounted for all of CIN's scoring.

There should be some angry folks in Pittsburgh. This just doesnt happen, but Tomlin let it happen and he allowed the Standard to SUCK ROCKS.

Tomlin will have the whole offseason to make amends with The Standard.

After all The Standard IS the Standard.

PLUS that was the end of the field where FGs go to die isnt it? I know the wind was swirling today but that is still the tough end to make a FG and he asked Suisham to make his career long on that end.
But hey, the Standard is the Standard even for FG kickers.
