Default Re: Steelers’ Hampton, Starks not ready to hang it up

We're 12 million over the cap so as much as myself and everyone else wants Starks to stay its not going to happen. He plated very well for the league minimum the last two years and will jump at one last payday and he should. I the fact is we can't afford him and he deserves to get paid for his talent because it's now or never for him.

“Given the opportunity, I feel like I still play at a high level,” Hampton said. “Give me a full season to work out and get in shape and be ready to play, I think I can play at a high level. I see myself able to play a couple more years

yup fatass, noone gave you an opportunity to get in shape the last 5 years

Hey hey, c'mon man. Big Snack has been an awesome player for 12 years, helped us win two super bowls, been the anchor for our number one defenses countless times.

What he meant by full year to get into shape was a full year that didn't require rehab. I thought Casey played well this year. I saw him the backfield making plays a lot this year, more then I had seen in years. If money can work, I think Snack has one more good year in him.

Starks, if he can get another job, god bless him, he has been great too, but if he doesnt, bring him back too.
