The drops have been the worst I can remember from a Steelers team. The fumbling was a record worst in the Cleveland game. None of that is on the OC.

What I like about Haley is that Ben has changed his game and was successful pretty early doing it. He's getting rid of the ball and staying upright for the most part. He still ad libs when needed, but isn't making a living off of it. I think long term, we're in a much better spot now.

The question is, if the Steelers wanted to get rid of Haley, how would they go about doing it? After all, Dan Rooney was his biggest supporter, when they hired him. His father, Dick Haley, was the Director of Player Personnel for almost 20 years. It would not be pretty if they fired Todd Haley after one season. Would they offer him a position in the front office just to get him out of the way? Aside from that, they would have to be concerned about the risk that whoever they brought in to replace Todd Haley might not work out, either. It will be interesting to see what happens. It is likely that they’ll give him another season as Offensive Coordinator.

Unfortunately you may be right. I wonder if they are praying Haley takes the head coaching job in Arizona so they can get rid of him and save face at the same time.

Tomlin is not a good game day coach. He cannot pull the trigger and make games over and continually allows teams back in the game and allows the Steelers to lose at end game. So he needs to either get way better or be gone!

Haley sucks to high heaven he needs gone asap.

Lebeau still has it but the general game plan sucks goes back the Tomlin playing not to lose and then losing with superior players.

Sorry guys - it is the same underachieving offense year after year. The offensive coordinators are variables - the quarterback is the constant.

Top quarterbacks with new coordinators last year and the ppg their offenses produced:

All those teams you mentioned aren't obsessed with ball control offenses - they actually try to score. I keep telling you that, but you seem incapable of understanding.

Don't demand the offense play ball-control and then go on demanding more points. Want more points? Gotta make some quick strikes and not worry about protecting the defense all the time.
