I really dont know if Bettis is a lock. Longevity and a team that committed to the run game might not make his career seem like that much of a extraordinary deal. I think Ogden for sure, Modell due to sympathy, Parcells should be a lock, Charles Haley should be in already, as should Tim Brown. Larry Allen was a dominant guard in the way John Hannah was.......but not sure he gets in right away either.

Congratulations to Jerome Bettis and Kevin Greene!

Strahan is definitely in. Yes, he is a media darling. Women love him on LIVE With Kelly and Michael. Just sayin'.

I dont think that Kevin Greene ever gets in. He was good, but it should not be the NFL Hall of Pretty Good Players.

What are you talking about, Kelly Ripa is hot. I would lay with her in front of a warm fire and spew poetry and talk world history. Naked.

@ Former Steelers Jerome Bettis and Kevin Greene made the cut to be among the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year.

The guess here is that Bettis gets in and Greene does not.

When Bettis became eligible for the Hall of Fame, he did so in the same year as Marshall Faulk and Curtis Martin.

At that time, the pecking order among those backs ranked them Faulk, Martin, Bettis.

Faulk got in the first year, Martin the next. Now, it's Bettis' turn.

I think once Curtis Martin has got in, Bettis' induction is just a matter of time. It may not be this year, but he will be there.
