Eddie is running behind the best offensive line in CFB. He's a good, not great, RB and he's already being outclassed by his true-Freshman RB teammate TJ Yeldon. I wouldn't mind taking Yeldon in the first round as soon as he becomes available.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be upset with Lacy in the second round, assuming he is our RB. That being said, I wouldn't be ecstatic, either. There's better, more elite prospects we could grab at that point and I think there's better RBs than him in the later rounds. Go look at Knile Davis in 2010 and tell me that guy isn't ridiculous.

That is my druthers. IF a RB were to be taken, he was my choice.

Was my choice... until...

My current thought is drafting Marcus Lattimore, and then rehabbing him. With today's medicines & technologies, he could be 95% of what he once was... which is great.

Still, Knile Davis would be a quality pick.

The only reason I don't take Lattimore is because we're going to have to give up a ILB / S prospect to grab him. He'll be taken in either R3 or R4, and I have us taking Nico Johnson and Robert Lester in those rounds, respectively. Knile Davis will be available in the fifth round and I think we pull the trigger and grab him.

If Lattimore is sitting there in the fourth round, though, it would be very difficult for me to not take him.

So now there seems to be several future RB's. Earlier I was labeled an Idiot for wanting to take a RB in Round 1 or 2.

He had a good year that year, then he got a season ending injury and came back and rushed for a little over 300 yards ...

unless you blaming the poor production on still not 100% from the knee ... I would say no to Knile Davis

there are some 5th and on RBs better than him I feel

Not by me. There are no R1 caliber RB's in this draft, but R2 is a possibility. If Mendy walks, we either draft an RB in R2 or R3, or we get another year like this one, where we struggle with a committee of fat men who need an oxygen tent or a medic after every carry. Picking a Safety instead won't really do much for us if we only put up 10 points a game.
