I know I am dreaming but the Cowboys are going with a 4-3 and DeMarcus Ware does not fir that scheme. He is too small for an End Rusher and cant play outside as an OLB in a 4-3.
He is a premier pass rusher in a 3-4. What about this trade? Woodley and a 3rd for Ware? With this, we get an OLB who can get to the QB and it will enable us to keep Harrison for one more year and see if Worlids can be his replacement or groom another. i am sure its a cap issue but Dallas is looking to make changes as we are. Just like Mario Williams in Houston, couldnt make it as an 3-4 OLB. some players can ONLY play in certain schemes |

You'd rather keep a 35 year old Harrison then let Woodley train, work off the weight and return to his 2011 form? What?
No, thanks. Also, the Cowboys will find a position for him to play. He's arguably the best OLB in the NFL - you don't just trade these guys away because you're changing a scheme. They've probably thought about his future with the team and have already found a place for him in their new scheme. |
