6 game suspension!
Crabtree in sex-assault investigation San Francisco police have interviewed 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree about allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman after the team's victory last weekend. The alleged attack occurred at an unnamed hotel early Sunday, hours after the team's victory over the Green Bay Packers. The incident is being investigated by the Special Victims Unit, whose detectives have interviewed Crabtree with his lawyer present. Crabtree has agreed to make himself available for possible further interviews. The 25-year-old player - who has not been detained or arrested - is expected to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons. General manager Trent Baalke said the team is aware of the allegations. http://www.sfgate.com/crime/article/...on-4207109.php ------------------- DTF I bet |

Worthless Roger won't do crap about this because, it was not a steeler. I'm still waiting for Parrish Cox to be suspended. Once again Worthless Roger did nothing! Yes I agree Crabtree should be punished for this! But we all know he won't!

Correction to thread title - Crabtree was in San Francisco rather than Atlanta at the time of the alleged assault
Moronic behavior by pro atheltes that occurs in Atlanta involves "forgetting" you have a firearm in your carry on baggage when your visit TSA at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport NFL football player is facing charges after police said he tried to board a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with a gun. Cincinnati Bengals right tackle Andre Smith sat shackled in a Clayton County courtroom Friday as his family members looked on. He stayed silent as his attorney spoke for him. Smith is accused of attempting to take a black .380-caliber handgun in his carry-on bag through the security checkpoint at the airport Thursday afternoon. TSA agents discovered it, and Atlanta police arrested Smith. His attorney told Channel 2’s Tom Jones he's sorry the football player from Alabama was arrested. "He did not know that there was a firearm in his luggage," attorney Brian Steel said. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local...airport/nT2SX/ Atlanta has consistently led the nation in guns confiscated at airport security checkpoints ![]() http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local...airport/nT2SX/ |

Crabtree's story was on the home page of the NFL website immediately after it happened. If you recall Ben was not suspended the first time he was accused of sexual assault. If the charges do not stick Crabtree will not be suspended either. If Crabtree is not found guilty in the court of law there is no need for the NFL to suspend him. If he is found guilty he will probably be playing on a team lead by Paul Crewe.
