Interesting Steeler Coaching Tree Facts
It's interesting to note that John Fox ( Denver) is from the Chuck Noll Coaching tree. He went from The Pitt Panthers under Gottfried to the Steelers.
Mike Tomlin is Considered John Gruden ...( Wow ) but started with 1 year under Dungy. Bill Cowher...Marty Schottenheimer Chuck Noll....Sid Gillman John Harbaugh would be considered Andy Reid and amazingly enough Jim would be Bill Callahan. Since Jim played NFL, I'm sure he picked things up from many coaches and cut his teeth in the NCAA with his dad Jack.
