Poll: Politics Forum?

I want some opinions, so i'm going to pitch this idea to everyone: What if Politics had it's own forum? We're thinking of giving it it's own forum rather than posting political content in the Locker Room.

Would that be something everyone would agree with? We'll leave the final decision to you guys, so just vote above and we'll see how it plays out.

sure why not...and while your at it why not create a movie/TV forum to discuss and review ? i probably woulda over looked dejango had tony not started a thread on it. i'm very glad he did since i thought it was the best movie of the year...

I don't discuss politics here, but a lot of people do, so I think they should have their own forum to do whatever they do.

Also, I second Master of Puppets request for a movie/tv forum, as well.

I have no problem with introducing newer forums for entertainment value, so just keep the suggestions coming and i'll review them all personally and run them by the rest of the team. I don't want to go too overboard with it, obviously, but I see nothing wrong in giving rightful discussion content it's own domain here on the forum. It is a long offseason, and I like to believe that this place can be looked at by some as more than just a place to hang when the Steelers are playing, and i'm open to all and any suggestions you have.

No. I think we're over structured as it is. i would combine all NFL football into one forum. I think it adds to the conversational tone and post frequency. That would drive interest.

Now if there was a way to icon the type of post it is within a forum so politics can be avoided or sought after and Steeler threads can be identified while still seeing that gem of a thread on the Jags front office troubles, I would support it.

The Locker Room should be like a chat room to discuss movies, politics, religion, new jokes, family, that growth on the side of your foot or whatever.

agreed , but what i meant was i rarely even turn the TV on so i had never seen previews or heard of dejango untill tony's thread.
i watch everything on the PC (except football). ...to hell with the commercials every 5 damn minutes.

What? another forum?

Why? the whole "locker room' only gets 4 visitors a day at a time

but I could see where keeping the hard core communists away from the general population might be a wise move to keep them from infecting the minds of youths
