following information has probably been posted in various other threads, but is pertinent in this one as well-

salary cap for 2013 is projected to be $121 mil/year.

Jets (worst salary cap situation at $150/mil made major cuts today to help get to that number and have some maneuverability in regards to being hamstrung by sanchez, and basically having no other choice but to trade revis.

latest numbers have the steelers currently $15.9 mil over the projected cap. this is the number us steelerfans need to focus on in the next 3 weeks.

I might be in the minority, but you seem to agree: Thursday night (& Friday night) is just NOT the same as "all day Saturday."
