I would assume so as DJ is switching back to TE, leaving Will as the only true fullback on the roster.

I have no clue as to where DJ is going, or why he was even brought back. Spathe is a better blocker @ TE, Paulson is a better receiver, and WIll Johnson is a much better fullback. If I were to guess, if and when Heath comes back, DJ is a goner, if he even makes it to camp.

Wow, I forgot this man even exists. I don't know, I thought he was picking up run blocks fairly decent last pre sason up until the injury. I think he is capable of bringing our ypc up about a solid yard or so.

Agreed, DJ may have been a better blocker, but WJ is a much better all around offensive threat. JMO.

But yeah, the blocking didn't impress me that game, considering two of the three Steelers turnovers were directly the result of poor blocking.

All of that... salt in the wound. So painful to discuss.

Don't worry, roger is taking that aspect out of the game.

I agree. Will Johnson did a good job I thought.

Since David Johnson is rarely used to catch passes he should be a helluva blocker... which he isn't.

I prefer the newer Johnson even though it is smaller; the other one had too much hair on it anyways.

Was at the Eagle-Steeler pre-season game when Johnson was hurt. Prior to the injury he was Ben's primary target. Was looking like a formidable target, bulked up, running over people. I'm comfortable with this TE group to start the season-do believe Pitt will draft a TE as well.

Love it when expectations are low for Steelers-they relish the underdog role--great to be underdogs not only in the AFC, but in the division as well. Colbert says they are adding 25 players this weekend--let's find some leadership along with talent--Lambert like!!!!!!!

My guess: they'll keep Will Johnson as the FB, then use DJ as the #3 TE until Heath gets back.
