Hi, from the UK also, and Steeler fan going back to 1983.

Good write up in general, i'm not so high on Bell as you are though. He was productive, he did have a poor o-line, and he didn't have much pass offense either, however, he does look very slow to the line IMO, that's gonna hurt moving up a level, and his pass blocking was not good at all on the tape I saw - Mayock "He's gonna have to learn to pass protect, he should be a better pass blocker than he is".

Is he going to be able to get outside at this level? Another analyst whose name escapes me on the NFLN coverage saw the same thing as me "I don't know how well he gets to the edges"

I have my doubts.

I'm skeptical but I like the pick if that makes sense, I want a feature back and I don't want to see any more of this RBBC garbage. They need to commit to him from day 1, 20-25 carries and see what happens, if they don't let him start and hit his groove he will fail. He's going to need good run blocking, clever play design and lots of carries.

Jones was the best pick and the best value, I also really liked Sharko and Wheaton.

Overall, the addressed the top two needs 1 and 2, so I can't complain.

Also, i'm pretty tired of these 3 year apprenticeships, Jones needs to be starting very quickly. We haven't got anything meaningful from Hood or Heyward yet or Worilds, and if Worilds is the answer to anything you are asking the wrong questions.

Strangely after the first three rounds I was most down on Jones. I was still happy but he was my least favorite of the 3 picks. He made complete sense and is good value at 17 though so I can't complain. I reckon Jones will be in on half of the Snaps by game 8, at least the same with Bell and Wheaton will be rotated in and out

Bell and Jones need to in much earlier than that. Hones especially RB is the easiest position to transition to the NFL, and we need a pass rush real bad, Woodley looked like a hippo last year, and Worilds has never done anything.
