Not sure why everyone has to go for the tired "make fun of white rappers" bs. Eminem is probably most peoples choice for best current rapper, Macklemore has made some great songs especially the one advocating tolerance for homosexuals- if you dont listen to rap you dont know how big a deal that is, Akhenaton is one of the best rappers ever, Ill Bill, Slug, Ra the Rugged Man are all talented.

Plus the best rapper ever wasn't black he was Puerto Rican. RIP Chris Rios.

Meh.... you want an unpopular opinion? I can't stand Eminem. Never have.

As for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the song "Same Love" is outstanding and I've posted it on this site at least twice before. Moving, honest, and thought-provoking.

No, the reason the Giants beat you is because your defense sucked. Like how can you NOT cover Burress in the end zone? It's not like he's was the second coming of Jerry Rice or anything.

But while we are talking, yes, your opinion is quite unpopular. Epecially here.

I didnt like Eminem till I heard the "Dont mourn rejoice" song. That totally changed my opinion. I get how people wouldnt like him I dont usually like punchline rappers. That being said his talent is undeniable and Rakim and Kool G have said as much.

this one?

eminem has always been one of my favorite rappers... yeah he does have alot of punchlines, but alot of his songs (the ones obviously not on the radio) are the ones with a message behind them and a lot of people can relate to

Maybe you're misunderstanding our tomfoolery. I listed Eminem as my best all-time rapper, and the Beasties at #4. It also just so happens that: a) some of the worst rappers (Snow) just happen to be white; and b) we listed three satires/spoofs (Will Farrell, The Lonely Island, Tosh).

Make sense?

Eminem's talent is undeniable. On the outtakes of "8 Mile", the extras are all taking turns dissing Eminem (at an audition and/or a rehearsal). The director told Eminem to save his voice for the movie... but after a while, Em had had enough. He told them to turn his mic back on, and proceeded to absolutely school everyone in the room. In other words, the end of that movie is pretty much how good his skills actually are.

The Beasties brought rap into the mainstream. Run-DMC started that push, but the Beastie Boys jumped of of their shoulders... and rap has never looked back. "Licensed to Ill" held the record for the best selling rap album (by about 5 million copies over second place) for nearly a decade. And, their "worst selling" album ("Paul's Boutique") is a masterpiece: from the sampling, to the flow of the three of them, to the original & clever lyrics... one of the greatest rap albums ever recorded.

You mean The Fat Boys, Kriss Kross, Naughty By Nature and MC Hammer are all white?!?
