You're arguing with someone who isn't right in the head, Cap.

This is a guy who claimed at the end of the season that not only would the Patricheats be in the 2013 Super Bowl, but they were also guaranteed to win it. Now he's bitching that these refs screwed the Patricheats out of two wins at the beginning of the season.

I told him to shut it once. He didn't listen and shoulda.

I actually thought the LFL was going to be a joke with all fluff and no substance until I watched it. Yes, the fluff is there in the form of eye candy gorgeous women, but these women can ball! They play hard and have some real skills. I was really shocked at the actual football skills they had and the level of intensity that they showed. I thought it would just be lame-ass Barbie dolls running around in skimpy outfits pretending to play football. Not bad at all.

As you can see, I briefly made the team but was let go after developing Type 2 Diabetes for financial reasons. What a bunch of heartless pricks......

Yeah, it's usually seen as a fluff thing and eye candy for dudes...but those girls can whoop some ass. They are hardcore trainers.

I have a high school friend who almost played for the Miami Caliente, but went for fitness modeling and bodybuilding championships instead, and I can tell you, they probably put more time into training then some pro-athletes do.

I absolutely respect what these women do on the field. Heck, I would respect it even more if they didn't make it out to be some sort of sideshow. Obviously the women are going to be attractive to men; the only way they can be competitive is by being in top physical shape. While I certainly appreciate the skimpy uniforms, I really don't think they are necessary to sell the product. True fans of football understand what it takes to play the game and the amount of dedication and training it takes to perform at a high level.

I just wish they made the games more easily accessible to the average fan.

I know...that's why I respect the Women's Football Alliance (and other full contact women's leagues) much more. Those girls don't get the press they deserve.

Yeah, I respect what they do too and agree they probably don't need the skimpy outfits and fluff, but damned if you'll hear me complaining about it.
