I am a big Troy fan and do not regard saying he is injury prone to be scathing criticism. Without Troy the Steelers probably would not have made the 2010 season Super Bowl (his strip of the ball from Flacco in week 12 flipped home field advantage away from the Ravens) and his pick six sealed the trip to Super Bowl XLIII. That is just 2 of many memorable plays

I agree enjoy Troy while you still can - same thing goes for Ben, who also has a style of play that will shorten his career

Doesn't matter what he does. He's not worth 10 million dollars.

Hard to argue with that. It would take a return to DPOY form in order to make that price tag worth it. Here's hoping to something close.

we're a different team when Troy doesn't start. No other player other than Ben has had as big an impact on these past SB winning teams as Troy.

He allows the Steelers to do so many more things defensively. When he's not on the field, the LBs are forced into coverage more and his replacement most definitely lacks his big play ability.

some people might say he is a cross between a linebacker and a safety. I say that's bullshit.

When he is at his best he is like a linebacker plus a safety, giving us an extra man on the field.
