Default Had Quite A Scare Here

Hi Folks,

Thursday morning around 4 am my left leg was so swollen I had never seen it so swollen. I sleep in the basement and I hobbled up 11 steps to the kitchen to sit on my couch to prop the leg up.

It seemed to help but man, did it hurt. So I went downstairs and back to bed and finally got some sleep. The swelling went down but wasn't totally down.

I got in to see my doctor right away and he sent me for a test for blood clots in the leg today. I had one in 2007 Easter Week that dam near killed me. It was in my lung and I had a heparin drip from my neck straight down to my left lung.

Thankfully, all was clear today. Pain is minimal if any and my doctor called in a script of antibiotics just in case it's not the start of cellulitis because I have had that before too and we theorize that was where the clot was in the knee and threw it to the lung.

What a crazy 24 hours! I was pretty shook up by it needless to say. But so thankful for God's goodness and it not being a blood clot.

Just wanted to share.
