Default possible trade deadline deal.

These are some trade the Steelers should look in.
1)Green bay get Wide receiver E. Sanders
we get LT/RT Derrick Sherrod.

plus we Swap forth round picks. i do not think green bay would go for the straight trade without the swap of picks.

Sander could replace cobb while he is out or start if Jones misses any games. the packers are still in the good shape to win their division and this move would help them. plus it gives them 4 strong receivers when the other return healthy

Derrick Sherrod is currently injuried but the packer expect him to be back soon.He could help out at left or right tacle. We would also get some cap space and he is not a free agent til 2015.
2)Giant get running back F.Jones
we get Cornerback J.Hosley

this is a even cap space swap but he is under contract until 2016

To Jacksonville

QB Ben Roethlisberger
2014 4th Round
2014 7th Round

To Pittsburgh

2014 1st Round

Anyone?

Seriously though, I think we should try to resign Manny Sanders - not trade him. I doubt the Packers want a rent-a-receiver right now anyway.

I don't know if it's a good idea to lose Sanders just yet. I know I'm a sucker, but I want to hold on until we have no chance before losing him now.

I hear you about losing Sanders but he is going to be gone next year. Tomlin already banned his touch down move to me this just show me its is all about sander not the team. He will want to much money so he will leave and it won't be until 2015 before we get any possible draft picks.
Why not let a good player go and decide for ourselves what will get in return. Plus if we finishes the season with a top 6 pick.our new starting tackles would be Sherrod and either Matthews or Lewan.

I like the Manny Sanders idea, I like him, but we could use the extra speed or the height with the 2 possible replacements. But we really NEED an LT and some more depth on our OL (only having Whimper as the ONLY backup right now is just playing with fire at the rate our OL gets injured).

Wheaton is are speed replacement and Moye the size.We place the ravens next week and wheaton is must likely miss the game so go size. Pick on Elam. Have Heath line up as a wide receiver next to Brown put brown in motion and run a slant if cornerback follows brown play up ball to heath. Same can be done with Moyle.

If agree the we need more olinemen. Should sign a couple of practice squad player.
