Not sure I agree. But I do believe he is NOT worth $7.5 M per season. If he stays healthy and contributes in the playoffs I can see it. But not missing a lot of games every year.

Pens back to winning ways - Sid took over the ice in Carolina, was in on all 3 goals

Megna was the best rookie on the ice and got his first goal! -a cheapie, but who cares

Olli pushed Jordan Staal around all night

Megna helps Pens skate past Hurricanes

Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Jayson Megna was in the way and ended up with his first NHL goal.

He got his first assist, too.

Megna, playing his second game, was credited with a goal after Sidney Crosby's shot went in off his skate and the Pittsburgh Penguins snapped their longest losing streak in almost two years Monday with a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Great for the win, I'll be more impressed if we beat Boston Wednesday

I don't need to be impressed, there's 6 more months of the season left - I'm just enjoying watching all the young guys play well on the ice right now

and Fleury is looking good - he make a bunch of good saves right in front of the net

how do you like them now?

a close intense game but I never thought for a minute they would lose it - that was the playoff game they needed to play!

great defense, Fleury making some great saves and the offense not running around like chickens with their heads cut off - just steady pressure

and Olli and Bort are playing like 10 year vets - a good sign

Great game last night! Wished they could have played like that in the postseason against the Bruins, but nice to see them get out of the special teams funk they've been in the past few games. Pens beat the Bruins 3-2 with goals from Kunitz, Sutter, and Jokinen.

And Letang owes Dupuis a couple new teeth.

It was a good fast paced game by both teams...Got a little scary towards the end for a bit.
This is the way they need to play when they get to the end.

Great win for the Pens against a quality opponent! It was nice to see them beat Boston.

On a side note, not a fan of the media trying to make the Penguins and Bruins a "rivalry." IMO there is not a rivalry between the two teams. Ask fans from each team. I doubt they would say there is.
