Re: JFK Assassination 50 years later
I caught a lot of the good television specials on Friday and Saturday. The Lost Kennedy home movies were pretty cool and had nothing to do with conspiracy or murder just family home movies.the assassination... 24 hours after" had a lot of good old news footage a lot of which I hadn't seen. As one who done a ton of research on the Manson trial, I enjoyed Vincent bugliosi breaking down evidence and giving his theories as well.
But "the smoking gun" has one of the most plausible explanations I have seen especially in regards to the ballistics and why the secret service acted so shady immediately after. I'm gonna have to read the book.
I am strongly leaning towards the accidental third shot (although the second magic bullet shot from Oswald probably would have been fatal).
if you have not been there and when to take a walk and look around you can go to Google Maps Street View and pretty much stand on the X and the street and look up and to the 6th floor Book Depository sniper's nest window. Pretty cool.
