Play him only if he is healthy. I think the players would play for a QB when they have a chance to win. You're right, many teams have backups capable of winning games but Green Bay ain't one of them.

I didn't get to see any of the game after GB was up 10-3 and until the 4th when Detroit had run away with the game. I'll just guess now that GB tried to run the ball and Detroit's defense stuffed them.

To be healthy would take around 5-6 weeks from what I know. Playing now with a collarbone that isn't fully healed would be stupid. 1 hit and he'd be done. Furthermore why risk your franchise qb when your teams playoff hopes are pretty much gone. 5 - 6 - 1, that tie hurts. Missing the playoffs would be far less hurtful than having a quarterback with a broken collar bone due to a boneheaded decision.

Detroit may be up and down but they now have a pretty solid division lead at 7 - 5

They tried to run and pass, nothing worked for them. Detroit tried to give them the game with turnovers too. And the Detroit kicker kicked the ball out on two kickoffs giving them great field position to no avail.

I was happy with the Detroit win, as I have hopes that Green Bay is now hesitant to bring back Rodgers with such little chance of making the postseason.
