That's actually a great idea for a meaningless occurrence: the opening coin toss.

Seriously, how much does a coin toss (which is itself completely random) affect the outcome of a game?

At least with 'audience participation' it would liven up the pre-game/first few minutes.

Personally, I think they should have drones make all the calls.

He should centralize stopping the NFL from becoming a soft ass league with these stupid ass calls. Get the game back to when we first started watching when guys would kill each other. Too bad the NFL knows an idiot like me will live and breathe football no matter what they do and they take advantage of it.

The NFL looooooooooooooooves Pittsburgh, so lets centralize everything to it's New York City Headquarters!

I guess it's not too bad, but Goodell really needs to stop feeling the need to change EVERYTHING about the game of Football. I'm sure it'll be two-hand touch in about 2-3 years at this pace.

Centralized replay would definitely help with the "I touched you with two hands!" "No, you only touched me with one!" arguments.

but it isnt changing anything about how the game itself is actually played, if anything its making everything quicker.

It's hard to say what affect it's really going to have on the game. Replays in general have taken some authority and respect away from the refs.

bitching over officiating mistakes has become like a pastime. It use to be, you complain and then move on. Now it seems like people are keeping score on the mistakes. No telling what this will do.

No I just wanted to randomly express that I hate Goodell and how soft he has made this game and league. Anything that takes the calls out of the refs hands can only be good. Still, fuck Goodell.
