Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
Projected Round (2014): 1-2

12/21/13: Dennard has 59 tackles with 10 passes broken up and four interceptions this season. The senior is a physical corner who needs to become more disciplined about his contact to avoid penalties, but he has some press-man ability and is a gritty defender. Dennard may not be the fastest corner, but he has good instincts and recognition skills.

Dennard has had a lot of good games in 2013 and maintained tight coverage. He was excellent against Michigan and did a good job of covering speedy Wolverines receiver Jeremy Gallon. Dennard had a clutch performance to help Michigan State top Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

8/17/13: While Johnny Adams was expected to lead the Spartans' secondary last season, it was Dennard who was the most impressive defensive back. He had a good season and was a First-Team All-Big Ten selection. The junior recorded 52 tackles with three interceptions and seven passes broken up. Dennard had three interceptions, 42 tackles and three passes broken up in 2011.

In all honesty what are the possibilities he can fall to the Steelers? Hell the best DB in College football and he has hands, is it a possibility he could land in the Burgh?

Darqueze Dennard will still be available when the Steelers pick, he is projected to go in the latter part of Round 1.

So we can pick him up with the 32nd pick in the draft

even tho he was the best cover corner he still projected around the mid teens to early 20s, there's a lot of offensive talent that will go high so I like our chances he'll be there when we pick.

I would think any good cover corner who is as physical as Dennard should be on the Steelers' radar.

question is, will Dennard be able to master giving 10-yard cushions?

it's a deep QB draft and a lot of teams with top 10 picks are in need of a QB. So yes, he's expected to fall to us. but not much further.

though the draft could be shaken up if manziel & clowney don't become draft eligible (heard their names aren't on the list yet), they're both expected to be picked before it's our turn. if they're both there, it increases our chances of getting 'our guy', whoever it is... Nix, Dennard, or Dix?

F.A., same question I asked 5-0, do you think he might be on the Steelers radar?
