I'm just hoping to make it to 4pm.
If we get that far it will make the Chiefs/Chargers a game I'll be watching for sure.
I'd have hope that even with some backups playing, they could make enough plays to pull out a win.

Good point. But the Ravens got hot at the right time and they got extremely lucky to be facing an inexperienced Colts team in the first round of the playoffs. Plus Ray Lewis announced retirement at the end of the season, and that's what made it emotional and over the top.

I hope that IF Andy Reid sits his starters he gets a severe case of hemorrhoids and crotch rot, just saying!

it's possible, i don't think any AFC team is really dominant. chargers could be a dark horse, and KC's defense is pretty tough. Manning is a choke artist in the playoffs so i can see them going down

The saints also lost their last 3 in 2009 before going on to win it all

This begs the question, what's the "right time" to get hot at? Teams have shown thy can do it in the playoffs...regardless of playing meaningful games leading up to it...

Uh... boogie nights.
Bravo sir.

I hope the Walrus doesn't sit his players. That'd be the dumbest thing I think he could do. The Chiefs have been wildly inconsistent against good opponents since they started their season off 9-0. If I'm Reid I put all my guys out there and tell them to play this game like it's a playoff game. I've never believed in sitting your starters unless you're playing a game and you're up by 30-40 points in the 4th Quarter and it's college football. I believe you need to build momentum going into the playoffs and hit things head on. If they lose the Chargers game and get a 1st round bye, then they'll be going into their first playoff game without any kind of momentum to speak of. Some people don't believe in the momentum thing but the Colts really are the perfect example of why sitting your starters is a grave mistake.
