Absolutely.

1. He'd only have to beat out Will Allen.

2. He's smart... and good.

Btw: Richards is going back for his senior season.

2014:
SS Troy starts, but a lot of Shark (nickel packages and/or subbing for Troy).
FS Will Allen starts, but the rookie takes over by Halloween.

2015:
SS Shark takes over full time.
FS Continued from 2014.

I've honestly been thinking about something like this:

1. NT Nix
2. CB Purifoy
3 (comp). FS Ed Reynolds
4. CB Jaylen Watkins
5. CB Bene Benwikere

CBs for 2014:
Allen, Ike, Gay, Purifoy, Watkins, Benwikere

CBs for 2015:
Allen, Purifoy, Watkins, Benwikere, rookie

or...

1. Darqueze Dennard, CB(leaning towards to switch Dennard with Justin Gilbert)
2. Deone Bucannon, FS
3. Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB <--- steal of the draft
4. Justin Ellis, NT <--- another player who will be a steal IMO
4. Robert Herron, WR(T.Y Hilton 2.0?)
5. De'Anthony Thomas, RB
6. Aaron Colvin, CB

Bucannon... nice.

That's not too shabby, but my point was: four DBs & a NT. so, how about something like this:

R1: CB Dennard
R2: FS Bucannon
R3: CB Watkins
R4: NT Carrethers
R5: CB Benwikere

one corner everyone should be watching is Stanley Jean-Baptiste from Nebraska. He's 6'3 200+ has very good ball skills not sure if he would be a better fit at safety but the thought of a big 6'3 corner would be nice. If his stock rises I doubt he'll be there for our 3rd round pick but Imo would be a reach with our 2nd pick. It'll be interesting to how he performs in the senior bowl tomorrow
